thankful

This year as Thanksgiving rolls around I am filled to the brim with blessings.

And I am lucky to have visual representation of the biggest of all these blessings.

My family.

an eternal family. forever and ever, amen.

my two cute boys who love each other and the lucky lady in their life (me!)

my first born. my personality twin and best frenemy.

for the bittersweetness of his eyes turning from blue to green, just like my dad's.

for how excited Dean is to be a big brother. the list of things he wants to teach baby brother grows by the day (so far: baseball, soccer, football, playing drums, and playing basketball "but we will need a bigger basketball hoop")

and baby boy.

This all leads me to another of my biggest and best gifts: the Gospel.

"Motherhood is not a hobby, it is a calling. You do not collect children because you find them cuter than stamps. It is not something to do it you can squeeze the time in. It is what God gave you time for."
